Despite being a relatively young institution, Kalinga University has demonstrated remarkable performance in rankings conducted by both national and international associations. Established in 1992 and officially inaugurated as a center for higher learning five years later, its unwavering commitment to teaching excellence resulted in the conferment of university status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, in 2004 – a mere seven years after its establishment.
The university has successfully established several Centers of Excellence through collaborations with the industry. These centers serve as optimal platforms for engaging in collaborative research and development endeavors with numerous partnering agencies and institutions globally.
