Description

Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College was founded in 1985 by the Tmt. Kannammal Educational Trust, which sought to advance education and effect change. In 1988, the Dr. M.G.R. Engineering College was established within three years of its founding, and in 1991, the Thai Moogambigai Dental College was launched. In 2003, both colleges were granted Deemed University status as Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute by the Union Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India, New Delhi, and the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
Many of the difficulties facing the 21st century can be handled with education and technology. Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University was founded with a vision in mind, keeping this in mind.
